Default NPC's mouths

This game looks amazing and everything is lush and pretty, but one thing that was really out of place was that the npc's during missions didnt move there mouths when they talked. I was a bit dissappointed with this because the environment and player models looked amazing and the sounds and character voices were amazing, but the lack of characters mouths moving were a bit of a dissappointment. I was amazed by how much work they put into giving every gender and class there own /dance but i dont see how they didnt include mouth movement.

Ya, after about every cinematic I say, "I love how their mouth move." (sarcasim)

I hope they do add in mouth movement though.

Also, I think it was Vizier but i'm not 100% sure, pronounces Cay (in Sanctum Cay) wrong, it's pronounced "key", not "kay". While I doubt you would go back and re-record that little segment when i'm probably the only one who picked this up, I figured you should know.

This shouldnt even be that hard to implement. If any of u have ever played counter strike or half life and used or seen someone use a mic before, the players mouth moves depending of the sound the player makes. In guild wars, couldnt this be done by allowing the mouths to move depending on the dialogue? Im not asking for anything fancy like facial expressions but just a moving mouth, its very distracting when i dont see the mouths moving, i dont know about anyone else but to me, its a really big deal.

Well maybe it IS proonouces "key"....just like I thought Lion's arCH was Lion's ArK.

But I also dislike the mouth moving inablilities. I do think we have great voices for our characters, on the other hand. I don't mind that our mouths don't move during normal chat, although it would be nice if they moved during the /yes or /no commands. But the cinematics are such a big part of the game, and SO much time was put into the game, that should as least be added.

I can see only one problem with this.. Would require programming for every languages in the game. Mouths arent moving because of this. All languages (if i'm not mistaken) have voice-over in missions and not just captions. So you would need to go through ALL the missions and cinematics code to modify the timing of the voice and moving mouth for every language, which is an awfully long process.

I would have sworn at one point I saw mouth movement in one of the beta weekends but it was really... horrid and off sync, maybe I just saw things.

I don't mind it as much as if they did move their mouths and it was way off sync or looked just plain funky...

Nope... ever seen a thing called Anime?

They are translated into a number of different languages and yet the lip sync is always more or less fine.

Really all that needs to be done is make the lips move generally...

They have been making things work for years... go watch some anime and maybe you understand

If it was to be pronounced as "Key" it would be spelt as "Quay"

Actually, according to Dictionary.com, Cay can be pronounced as either Key or Kay. Therefore, there was no mistake made.
